Charlotte Chew was first exposed to music when she was two years old. Later, her music lover, father, noticed that she could listen to any songs just once and play the entire melody out. Since then, Charlotte began learning to play a simple melody on piano from her father until 14 years old. After that, Charlotte started her first piano lesson seriously at Yamaha Music School and pursued her piano studies with well-known pianist Eric Leong. After six years of taking proper piano lessons, Charlotte got her Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) with Distinction and won first prizes in the few international piano competitions at the age of 20. Later, Charlotte started her first piano teaching at Cristofori Music School in 2013 as a full-time piano teacher till 2019. She then changed to part-time teaching due to further study Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) at the University of Essex. Charlotte has eight years of teaching experience, but she was also appointed as a piano accompanist for ABRSM and Cristofori Music School examinations. Charlotte was even appointed as one of the members of the Singapore Asia Youth Piano Competition.
